Come Along On Our Camper Adventures!

We hold these truths to be self evident…

Today was our last full day in DC and it was great. The kids powered through about 6.5 miles today and we hit The Smithsonian National Zoo, National Archives, Capital Hill and Supreme Court. The last 2 were walk-bys, but amazing to see in person and up close.

The Zoo was fun (although we are spoiled by having The Philadelphia Zoo in our backyard) and we loved seeing the Giant Pandas and Elephants. The wearer was beautiful today… warm and sunny. A welcome change from yesterday!

The National Archives was amazing and we have no pictures b/c photography is not permitted. I think I was more impressed than the kids, but seeing the actual documents that are the basis of the formation of our government and country was super cool. we walked to Capital Hill and Supreme court before heading to dinner. I saw a cool dive ramen restaurant on DDD in NW Washington and we thought it would be a fun place to end our trip.

Tomorrow we head home to pick up Charlie girl and finish our spring break at home.
