It’s hard to believe we are starting our 4th season with our home on wheels. As our kids get busier and busier our camping opportunities get smaller and shorter… but we still want to get out as much as possible as our schedules allow. This weekend we headed to Pioneer Campground in Muncy Valley, Pennsylvania. A Friday night softball game and Karate belt testing had us traveling seperatly. Joe and our oldest left first to start getting set up and try to arrive before dark. Pam and the younger kiddos arrived around 11pm and ready for bed.
This spring camping weekend brought us cold temps and cloudy windy skies. Joe and the kids tried for some fishing, but the wind made it tough. Not the greatest weather, but we had time to un-winterize the plumbing, do a little cleaning and unpacking for the season and most importantly, relax and unplug. There is nothing better than napping in a hammock or s’mores by a campfire.
