Come Along On Our Camper Adventures!

Heading North

Today was a travel day, and we headed 4 hours north on Rt 75. Along the way, we made a quick stop through Frankenmuth, MI, to stop at Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland. Bronner’s is the largest Christmas store in the country, and spans almost 2 football fields. An overwhelming walkthrough for sure, but who can beat Christmas music with 185 days to go? We drove through the small village of Frankenmuth but didn’t stop b/c there wasn’t a good spot to park the truck and camper. German and European feels all around with cute buildings, shops and restaurants.

Our final destination and home for the next 4 nights is Mackinaw City and Mackinaw Mill Creek Campground on Lake Huron. We have a beautiful secluded spot just off the lake, and it’s perfect. Some game time and a great dinner were the best way to end the day…. Until our youngest found an ice cream spot to try. We headed out for a quick drive across the Mighty Mac bridge and to the Upper Peninsula to St. Ignace. It wasn’t even dark after 10 pm here. A big difference for us!
