Come Along On Our Camper Adventures!

Day 9 – New River Gorge National Park

The newest national park was the last stop on this years trip and our 30th park in 4 years! No rest days on this shortened trip, so we were a little tired. We did make it to each of the parks major “sees” for some great views and history. Our first stop was the New River Gorge Bridge followed by the Fayetvle Station Road tour. We then headed to Thurmond Historic RR Town for a picnic lunch. Our next stop was Grandview about 1400 feet above the gorge. Final stop for the day was Sandstone Falls. The only thing we didn’t get to her was whitewater rafting so that will have to be an adventure for another trip. Day 10 will be breakdown, cleaning and the treck back to Pennsylvania. Our oldest self proclaimed family tech expert has been busy building a new blog for me so hopefully we will be able to share some pictures soon.
