Joe and the kids explored Mammouth Cave National Park this morning. I decided not to go. Caves are not my thing (I need to be able to see the sky), and one was enough for this trip. They had a great time and this mom got some quiet time in the camper!
When the crew got back, we spent the day exploring the resort. The last time we were at a Jellystone resort (my very first tiptoe into “camping”) it was April and cold/rainy so we didn’t get to do much. Today we took full advantage. The kids played air nurf, pool and water slide, we hit the lake and Joe and the kids did a Wibit session on the lake (think Wipeout!). Even though we aren’t home until Wednesday, this feels like our last day of vacation. The next 2 days are full driving days to get back to Pennsylvania.
