We made our way to Arizona and Grand Canyon National Park today. The time changes threw us for a loop. During our drive we went from mountain time to pacific time back to mountain time before settling in our campsite in pacific time. Confusing when our phones and watches kept changing times on our drive 😂 The Grand Canyon either does or does not observe Daylight savings time, and I’m not sure which one we are in, but for the next 4 days, we are on pacific time!
The drive from Utah to Arizona was another beautiful one. We stopped for lunch at a gorgeous overlook and made sandwiches in the camper. We didn’t even know what we were looking at until we drive on further and saw some signs. Turns out we were driving by Vermilion Cliffs and not too far from the northern rim of Grand Canyon! It was another scenic byway road. We have driven some scenic byways in Pennsylvania, but they are nothing like this!
We arrived at our campsite in the park. Set up, made dinner and enjoyed an outdoor movie today. We are loving the 35-40 degree temperature drops today! I got a few sneak peaks of the canyon once we drove through the south rim gate. Can’t wait to get out tomorrow!
