Since yesterday was such a strenuous and early day, today we just hung out for the morning and spent the afternoon driving the Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway, which is part of Zion open to the general public (no shuttle required). It was definitely one of the most, if not the most, immersive drives we have done. The road features a narrow 1.1 mile tunnel bored through solid rock and a 600 foot blind Arch which should become a full arch in about 100 million years 😂. Most of our views of national parks so far have been at ground level of from above looking down. Today we were driving through the canyons and it was breathtaking. We also traveled about 40 miles north to Kolob Canyons Road for another beautiful drive. Check out some of our views from today!
