Our last full day in Canada. We headed to Peggy’s Cove which is a small, quaint costal community and an active fishing village. Rocks to climb on and beautiful views of St. Margaret’s Bay, one of the most famous lighthouses in Nova Scotia and a cute village of shops made it a memorable stop. We also stopped at the memorial for Swissair 111, which crashed into the bay in 1998.
Before dinner we headed to Fisherman’s Cove a restored 200 year old village on Halifax’s Eastern Passage. It was a cute boardwalk stroll with little shops and bakeries to pop in and out of. We enjoyed dinner on the water with Pam’s parents on their last night with us.
We celebrate the best dog today on her 3rd birthday too!
Tomorrow we head for the border
