We put in a long drive day today in order to be on the NH/VT border for the next 4 days and not have to keep jumping spots. 7 states in 9 hours PA>NJ>NY>CT>MA>VT>NH. Huge thumbs up to our captain Joe for putting in the long haul while 3 out of 5 of us napped at some point during the day. We are in Littleton/Franconia Notch NH sitting right on the Ammonoosuc River. With the flooding in Vermont this week, we have been checking the areas to make sure we know what is open and any road closures. Tomorrows itinerary looks to be ok.
We set up and made a quick dinner while the kids headed to an ice cream social at our campsite. Charlie got a quick walk to stretch out her legs after a long car day.
Joe got a cute miniature s’mores kit for Pam for her birthday as a joke, but it came in handy on a night we were all tired and there was no way we were lighting a fire for the actual thing. The kids got a kick out of it too!
Here we go!
Home on Wheels hits the George Washington Bridge
Our last state for the day
How cute!
