When planning our 6 week long trips, Joe always schedules rest days so everyone can recharge. Our last few years of trips have been much shorter, so we have been on the run. Today felt like a rest and reset day was needed. Joe had some work stuff come up. The kids needed a day to veg out. Pam finished a book. Charlie hung out with her humans. It was also very hot and humid in Traverse City today. So we didn’t do much and it was wonderful!
We did head out for dinner to downtown Traverse City and spent some time wandering the shops on Front Street. We found a small food truck park for dinner called The Little Fleet so we stoped for some craft cocktails and a variety of food to share from most of the trucks. We finished our night with another trip to Moomers and Enola Holmes on Netflix.
Tomorrow we head south to South Haven for the final stop of our Michigan adventure!
