Joe loves camping. I do not. Not even a little bit. Sleeping on the ground, outside with bugs and animals, no bathroom… no thanks. He’s asked many times over our quarter century together and I always said no. In 2019, I surprised Joe with a weekend in a very small cabin at Jellystone Camp Resort in Millrun, PA. It had a bathroom and a door, so it was good enough for me.. I guess. We had a great time!
During the Pandemic of 2020, we needed a change of scenery. But we weren’t too keen on staying in hotels or crowds and Pennsylvania had quarantine restrictions if we left the state. So Joe talked me into renting a camper and exploring our home state. We considered it a test run for a longer trip, or perhaps getting our own someday… he was slowly breaking me 😂
