It was cloudy, foggy and misty when we woke up this morning… but one thing we know about SF is that most of the time the morning gloom burns off once the sun comes up! We went down to Fisherman’s Warf today to visit one of our favorites for lunch, Boudin Sourdough. Everyone enjoyed it and we walked along the piers before our scheduled tour for Alcatraz. The kids enjoyed our visit to the Rock, until the youngest got pooped on by a bird… right on the head and down the face. Our middle now wants to watch as much about Alcatraz as he can find on YouTube. After we finished our Alcatraz tour, we walked down to Ghirardelli Square for ice cream. Then we did some city driving so the kids could see how steep the hills of SF are. We drove down Lombard Street and then headed over to see the houses used on the Full House exteriors. My kids have all watched the original 8 seasons so they were thoroughly impressed and then the youngest wanted to binge some episodes when we got back to the camper. Excellent SF day in the books!
