Wednesday we hit the Pima Air and Space Museum. Tucson is home to an Air Force Base which we are staying near. We have been hearing the planes from our campsite but we got to see a ton of them taking off and landing from the parking lot of the museum. We even saw a vertical climb which was awesome!
The museum was huge and full of aircraft inside and outside of hangers new and old. We spent over 3 hours wandering through all the planes and exhibits. Joe and the boys had a great time. Pam and Caroline were good sports! We headed to lunch afterwards at a spot recommended by some of our friends who are Tucson natives, El Charro in downtown. The food was amazing! We ended our day with a birthday party for Charlie who turned 2 today. I found a cute bakery near us Dogs-n-Donuts to get her a small birthday cake!
