We spent a quick weekend in Elysburg, PA at Knobles amusement park with some of our great camping friends! Our campsite, Lake Glory, was about 10 minutes from the park. Knobles is Americas largest free admission theme park with free parking, no admission, pay as you go rides and tons of food options. It was our first time here and we had a great time. Hot and humid summer weather had us get rained out most of the day Saturday, but it cleared up in time for some teens to head back and close the park with minimal lines and the rest of us relaxed fireside. The campground had an arcade and ice cream shop which everyone visited. Sunday, we were able to leave our camper at the site since they weren’t booked and we headed back in the heat to catch up on the rides we missed out on. A short but fun weekend and always great catching up with friends we don’t see often enough.
